Rest of the weekend will be planting the garden, hoping to plant two new trees and general landscaping shit.

Plus, getting ready to head back to spend a few days with my mom and maybe a chance encounter with @LoudHogRider and/or @Kinish !!

Milo either makes them or has a site that he finds these somewhat bizarre but occasionally humorous memes on. Personally, I wish he'd drop 'em in the standing memes thread, but at the end of the day ... we're all in a decade long, multi-site shitposting thread. Anything goes, tho I do miss the days of @HeyJoe's (now @David Webb) bouncing titty gifs from time to time. Always a welcome surprise to find on the tMB version of this thread.

One thing Mrs Bomber does is chill the brisket in the fridge for an hour or two. That makes slicing (against the grain, of course)…..(NOT “pulling”) so much easier and then the sliced brisket goes into a crockpot with some au jus, reheats slowly for 30-60 minutes and time to get out the @Fitzjess21 BBQ sauce and make a sammich on a Hawaiian roll/bun…….😎💰✊

Any Memorial Day plans, Bronies?

Taking a break from the Friday night steak BBQ and doing a traditional Memorial Day cookout with burgers, brats, hot dogs and hot links. We'll have a small mob as my brother and family is here from Nashville.

We are having a really cold Spring, averaging 10 degrees below normal since forever. Meh, it's still not terrible but would it be too much to ask to see 70 degrees at least once please?

My second niece is spending the summer in L.A. doing an internship with a major corporation. She's finishing her junior year at Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota FL and is a top student. Last year she did an internship creating an exhibit on early American dresses at the Smithsonian in D.C. This year she was selected to do an internship at Mattell HQ in El Segundo CA and will be designing dolls. She loves it out here so I may end up with 2 California girl nieces.

When I have Brisket (smoked or oven) I always get a bunch of different sauces out and line em up at the table so each bite has a little drop of something and I mix and match between difference sauces.

I look like a heroine junkie getting all his “works” out to party.

TL;DR brisket never disappoints if you think of it the same way we do Husker football. 12-0 would be tight but I’m just hoping for a bowl game.
