That's rough. Feast or famine, welcome to mid-western weather since I can remember.

I'm waiting for the 400" of snow pack in the Sierras to melt and turn the Central Valley into the world's largest lake. It's been fairly temperate so the snow is melting at a reasonable rate but the inevitable stretch of 100 degree+ days will be catastrophic.

No kidding. One of the downsides of retirement is the propensity to latch on to a hobby without regard for the cost. Sometimes, I'll dive down a rabbit hole and have to claw myself back out of it with a simple "this makes no damn sense economically" reminder. I've gotten a lot of cool stuff and projects completed by listening to the devil on the OTHER shoulder, "Fuck it - do it anyway. You know you want to!". I like that guy ... but he's expensive.
