Saw them in 1997 in Reno. Cool that they are still out there and it's too bad Dusty Hill didn't make it this far.

Saw them at the old Civic Auditorium in Omaha back in the day (IIRC, I was still in High School). Pure Prairie League was the warmup band. The floor in the Civic was an oval, and normally they set the band up at one end, but I guess based on the size of the stage, they had to set them up running "the long way" on the floor.
When ZZ Top took the floor, roughly 100 girls were sitting on top of their boyfriend's shoulders facing the band, and about half of them seemed to simultaneously take off their tee shirts and threw them on the stage. Seeing that many boobs at once was very exhilarating, but I knew young LHR was destined for business school when I immediately thought, "Damn, the souvenir tee shirt vendors are going to clean up tonight. Can't drop off young Nancy back at her parent's house with no top on."

I feel ya brother. In the last 2 yrs I’ve had it 5-6 times. The last time I had it they took cultures and it came back as penicillin resistant strep! What the FUCK!
Had to take levaquin to knock it out. Every time I’ve gone to doc for it they test for COVID too and I’ve been negative every time. Going to an ENT doc later this month to see what the hell is going on with it.
