I'll be arriving in Denver and going to Scottsbluff until the 12th when I'll be returning to Denver, about the time you're leaving Grand Junction so I don't think it will work out. Too bad but hopefully another time

My Dad retired in January and is already slipping into his second childhood.


We once again have scheduled nap times during family get togethers.

PS: last Christmas when everybody was napping my brother and I found the old N64 and hooked it up to the big screen. Goldeneye, Mario Kart & Super Smash bros. Easily the highlight of Christmas for both of us.

Thanks, amigo. Pretty fricking weird deal. The sky is gray. Pieces of soot/ash falling out of the sky everywhere here in both Gering & SB.

One home burned to the ground and thousands of acres of grassland are gone. Every possible fire truck has been out since the lightning hit(s).

And then, to top it all off, a fire was somehow sparked at the sugar factory out on the east end of town. It was quickly put out but there are some crazy pics when it was at its worst.

And, on top of that, the next 3-4 days have a projected high of 100+ degrees. Fun times.
