Just got back to McCook. Stopped and picked up some 1x4s and 1x6s from Selden Lumber.
$1.50 cheaper per than the best deal I could get in McCook or North Platte.
They had it ready for me in 4 piles ends and center wrapped in plastic. Those boys are salt of the earth. Shot the shit with them about FEMA still not giving them even as much as a confirmation for the claims filed for the summer tornado.

I'll add (most) insurance companies to that assessment. Getting ready to file for reimbursement on our Shingrix shingles vaccines for myself and Mrs. LHR. It appears I need a claim form + an authorization form for myself and a claim form and TWO authorization forms for Mrs. LHR as she got one shot at Hy-Vee Pharmacy and the other at the Costco Pharmacy. Four shots, five forms and I'd bet a box of donuts it gets kicked back for some stupid reason or another. Please, can I simply have my $667.97 back? This getting old stuff is expensive AF!

Raining cats and dogs. No problem. Hot/cold same. It's gonna be windy and they turn into junior high school girls.
True story. Our foursome played in a Santa Ana wind event east of L.A. one summer and the wind was a steady 30-40 mph with gusts to 70. Every hole had a 55 gal barrel on the tee for garbage and those things were blowing around the course. Down wind I was Jack Nicklaus hitting 300 yard drives and against the wind it took me a driver and three 3 woods to reach the green on a 500 yard par 5.

I don't know or understand Jackshit about offense/defense strategy in basketball but I know what Fred has accomplished is quite impressive. Recruits at an extremely high level to a historically poor bball program, only to deliver some of the worst results in program history.

Wife just told me that our son stood on top of his toy pirate ship to reach the upper level cabinet to raid the candy cane stash.
