This is almost as corny as when nebrasfaninwisco use to do these comparisons on RSS and compared current recruits to past Husker greats. Clearly people have way to much time on their hands or our fan base is clueless and eats this crap up.

Consider that that’s basically more snaps than any other healthy RB besides Grant.

To me it says that they really, really want to preserve Ives redshirt so he can let his body mature without any scrapes and dings. And that maybe he isn't exactly reliable in pass pro yet. Being asked to chip a Big 10 DE or full on pick up a Big 10 LB is probably a bit different than what he saw in high school.

Honestly, option is our best chance to win with our current QBs and WRs. I like it, might as well try something, defense is too good to lose and the west fucking sucks. It could get us some wins.
