Maybe it's just me, but this is the least excited I've ever been for a husker season.

Usually it goes way up with a new coach.

I wonder why they don't list Tommi Hill on the WR depth chart. He's obviously ahead of three of the guys listed on there. Heck, last week Billy Kemp only played three more WR snaps than Hill. He's clearly in the WR rotation more than Coleman, Lloyd or Hahn.

You’re right. The question I’d ask is why we keep playing him at WR.

Is Fleeks still fat? What gives

I was thinking that when breaking down the offense and going back and forth with the depth chart to see who was in. My guess on why Fleeks wasn’t in was because we just don’t play a true slot very often so it’s easy for us to play the others. Like, we don’t have three WR sets too much.

No idea if true but read on another board that the FB transfer from N Dame, Liebentritt is out for the season also. Haven’t checked to see if he played on Saturday. Curious if anyone else has heard anything.

* just checked and he was in on 16 plays

Lieb was good, too. This will stink if true as the jumbo set I form with Lieb, Teddy, and Linden was money.

Honestly Sims does seem like a pretty good dude.

I think the locker room piece is undervalued as far as being a part of why Sims is here & not Thompson.

The other dudes seem to like Jeff, whereas IIRC there was talk about Casey & the girlfriends of other players, & multiple writers kind of hinted at him not being the most-liked player among teammates.

Definitely not as juiced as I was for the CU game, but still fired up. It's a chance, albeit a small one that might only last a quarter or a half, at an upset. I don't know what to make of the weather forecast being steamy and gusty.

And like my guy frogsker said above, another day to get after it and drink. And the boy Willy Compton will be in town

It would be really nice to play Michigan with a healthy and in rhythm starting QB and not a semi-prepared back up for a change. Last year we started Chubba and ended with Logan so they got the 2 and 3.

Now they will get a slightly injured backup in his 3rd career start or the returning from injury #1 who hasn't really played for 21 days.

They already enjoy advantages over us but consistently being weak at QB is something they get lucky with against us a lot. Wasn't Adrian dinged the year before last?
