Maurice Washington's response to Tanner Farmer's practice story

Here I thought the whole time Mo had legal issues with revenge porn and that's why he left to deal with that shit.

To be honest. I don’t think it gets blown much out of proportion. What did he show up at. Like 165 lbs? He was a scrawny scrub and still made plays.

He pissed a lot of potential away.
I don't think he ever weighed more than 180. Probably never weighed more than 170. And probably didn't lifted weights either

He could have been an absolute dude

I’m not saying Mo was necessarily a good person but there’s a reason Frost had a soft spot for him. The dude was talented AF and a game changer plain and simple. Plus its easy to sympathize with him when you hear his upbringing.

But when you’re rebuilding a program you need to create a culture where young talent rises to the top. Frost just put players in charge of policing everyone and played the cool older brother role. Then the politics and drama in the locker room became ridiculous. And our young unqualified, inexperienced position coaches didn’t help things. “Hey Mo why aren’t you in the front?” from a guy who didn’t even make an NfL roster seems like a bad approach to me.

Husker fans idolize guys like Farmer who don’t even make the pros then wonder why we suck. Hey he says the right things in interviews and has a husker tat tho. But i remember the Mo who single handedly almost won the Colorado game.

We all agree Mo was talented.

I’m kinda of the opinion that there’s Tanner’s story and there’s Mo’s story and the truth is somewhere in the middle with the edge going towards Tanner. I don’t think Tanner asked him how he could help him get to class and Mo said “I’m going to fight you.” I also don’t think Tanner grabbed his shoulder pads after a sprint. If he did, it was something that had a lot of rising actions to it and this was the event that boiled it all over.

Not sure we should be putting Tanner Farmer down here for being hard on a kid who clearly needed it.

If Tanner Farmer and Mo Washington never cross paths in their entire lives, Mo Washington still never finishes his college career at Nebraska.

A shitty o-lineman who really hadn’t proven anything trying to micro manage the young borderline 5 star difference maker is not great.

Still think Mo could have been in the record books here had things been different. We needed a guy like Mickey, Applewhite or Busch on the staff back then woulda helped. Can’t run off all your talent

Troll game is weak

Mo went on snapchat yesterday to rant his side of the story after it got traction on TikTok 2 days ago, so I typed his story out because you can't save snapchat stories.

“So that video, this n**** is fucking capping, this n**** is a straight bitch, first of all I wasn’t late to practice bro, I don’t even know why I’m explaining this but that shit really got me hot, I was not late to practice, the reason I was mad is cause we had to run sprints and while we was running sprints this n**** was like “Aye Maurice you should be in the front, why aren’t you in the front every time?” I didn’t say shit to him. After practice he comes up to me and grabs me by the back of my shoulder pads and he like “Maurice I’m tryna talk to you” I’m like “get the fuck off me, the fuck” I keep walking and he comes up to me again and grabs me by my shoulder pads and he’s like “I’m talking to you” so I slapped this n**** hand and said “get the fuck out of my face” and he’s still in my face, I didn’t almost punch that n**** bro, I jawed that n****, n**** whole head snapped sideways and I walked past him and left practice, nobody gave a fuck. Then the next day coach Frost came up to me like “Mo I gotta talk to you bro, Mo please go apologize to Tanner, he’s a good kid he’s just trying to help you” I’m like “fuck that n**** I don’t give a fuck about Tanner, he a straight bitch” talking about we need to surround you by the right person, you’re not the right person my n****, you’re a bitch ass n****, the fuck? He’s one of the main reasons why I left Nebraska, what do you mean? He’s a straight bitch, he’s not the right person to be talking to me and grabbing me and shit, n**** I will jaw you again, fuck is you talkin about…

...And he was saying I wasn’t gonna make it here, yeah, I wasn’t if you were blocking for me n**** you were the worst, you were the worst, if we called coach Frost right now, my exact words to him before I transferred, I didn’t get kicked off the team I entered the transfer portal, my exact words were “I cannot play for this offensive line anymore, you know why? Because of Tanner fucking Farmer, I wasn’t gonna keep getting my ass busted up because of your sorry ass, I’m sorry””

Mo adds "Of course he gone leave out the part when he was crying in coach Frost office 😂😂"

JD Spielman chimes in on Farmer's story and says "N**** straight 🧢 (cap) but that's expected from people around there"

Also I hate to break it to Maurice but Farmer is white….

I don’t disagree if he’s telling the truth. He seems like the type of guy that would stretch the truth to fit his narrative. If Mo is telling the truth then farmer his a dbag. I tend to believe Mo here otherwise he wouldn’t have gone to bat for himself, he’d have left it alone and farmer’s story if you listen and watch him tell it, seems a little made up in places he needed it to fit his narrative.

Can’t say either way and whoever is right good for them and whoever is wrong is an idiot. Just have a gut feeling farmer is telling it his way, not the real way.
Nothing Tanner said seems that far out there. Judging from what I've heard about Mo (my nephew was on the team with him) I'll tend to lean towards believing Tanner on this one. My nephew has never really said anything bad about his teammates except for 1. I'll let you figure out who that one was 🙂

He has amazing talent. Anyone that says otherwise is a complete and total moron

Talent doesn’t matter a ton if you don’t put it together on the field. Dude went off the rails and had something like 20 yards in 20 carries after Illinois.
