He’s missed 20 fts on the year and 9 of those came in 2 games (UTRGV and Cockeye). He’s 71% on the year and has actually made quite a few clutch fts of late.

Edit (posted too soon): I feel just fine with him handling the ball to ice games and apparently so does Fred. He made 2 fts late yesterday when the game was still in question.
71% for a PG is not good. Ashworth shoots like 95% from the FT and he plays for a stupid team

Honestly the 2nd half was about the best basketball we've played all year...offense, defense, rebounding...it was at least our best half of basketball since the 1st half vs. Pickle Smoochers. Essegian and Berke both played really well down the stretch.

Zero turnovers in 2nd half until we ran out the shot clock at the end. Unbelievable 2nd half.

71% I’d say is relatively average. Problem is outside of Brice there’s not many guys you’re super confident in making clutch fts. So far Rollie has stepped up and done that though. Comparing him to the best ft shooter in the country isn’t really apples to apples.

I could be wrong, but my problem with Worster is that he doesn't seem like a good teammate or leader. Seems like he is the type of guy that always thinks he is in the right.

I think this has gotten better as of late, and maybe that's because he has been humbled a bit. But early in the year it didn't seem like the other guys liked playing with him.

He doesn’t have to be Ashworth but there is a reason he isn’t our starting Pg anymore and part of that has to be his offense/FT shooting. Shooting 80%+ from the FT line as a PG isn’t a crazy ask when you want them handling the ball to close out a game. I don’t think that would even put him in the top 100.

Yeah his offense leaves a lot to be desired, but we wouldn’t have beat Oregon or Washington without him so he brings value.

I’m speaking on his ft shooting specifically, and though his percentage may not be as high as you want he has made the ones that have been most important so far.

Was it called? I didn't see most of the game.

I didn't watch the game live either, but apparently they called a foul, went to the monitor, and somehow determined that it was a Flagrant 1. That's a Flagrant 2 if I've ever seen one.
