I disagree, simply because I don't think they are looking for the number of HS recruits which could get them into the top 10.

But don't you think a lot of schools will be doing the same thing? With the 105 limit and ever-increasing emphasis on the portal, won't a lot of schools being taking smaller HS classes from now on, therefore kind of evening the playing field in the recruit rankings (as far as numbers go)? Or do you think Nebraska's will be particularly smaller than most because we're having to cut a higher number than most to get to 105?

we may be slightly affected by having so many recruits but I don't think that is a major factor. You have a valid point - everyone's class (at least everyone in the BIG and SEC) will have fewer HS recruits, which likely means we'd have to have at least 2 five stars and the rest 4 stars to be a top ten HS class. Hard to see that happening, I agree.
