Kelly to LSU

Not going to lie, this silly season has a fraction of my brain thinking, “You have a young, legacy coach that sucks right now. But if he can develop and figure this out - we can stay out of all this madness for 2 decades”…

I know the definition of insanity but god who do we hire that doesn’t leave for greener pastures after 1 good season.

That being said, Frosts resume certainly doesn’t deserve that leniency

💯💯💯💯💯

I want Frost gone too but it definitely looks like Turd made the right call.
Hopefully this will give us some good options for transfers as well. If Frost thinks FCS transfers will win us games next year he won’t make it past October.

DeBoer would've been a great hire. UW scooped him up.

If he were anything better than historically, disastrously unsuccessful, I could be on board with the idea of riding it out right now. Why he couldn't he just be solidly underwhelming?

I don’t want to be “but we’re so close” guy, but being real, we were not a bad football team this year. We were a good football team that was bad at winning. The only reason that matters in my mind at all is that’s a lot closer to being what we want this to look like than what we saw in the last year of Mike Riley. I totally understand coaches are paid for wins though

I think you're being pretty generous to Frost in assuming he wouldn't bail on us for a better opportunity

(If he ever has a good season that might afford him such an opportunity)

I suppose that could be true. My perception is that this is his dream job and if he doesn’t get fired (0.03% chance), he retires here
