There is something wrong IMO with the fifth place SEC team being given another shot to play for a national championship over an ACC or BigXII runner up. I would be in favor with capping conference participation because if you can’t be in the top 25% of teams in your own conference what justifies consideration into a national championship tournament?

The conference games have already determined who their best teams are, let’s let them play teams from other conferences.
