Update: bedtime went way south, with my three year old shouting “I DON’T CARE!” at my wife and then freaking out crying when she walked out of the room. Then I spent about five minutes explaining to him why it hurt mommy’s feelings when he said that, only for him to tell me “I don’t care” when I told him that he needed to be a good listener and finish getting ready for bed.

Finally got him down without brushing his teeth or reading a story and now I’m going to open the bottle of Colonel EH Taylor I got for Father’s Day because if not now, then when?

Just dropped my ex off at the airport. It was the end of an almost 6 year relationship. I popped a 10 mg edible, several whiskey cokes, and lots of music.

Still have my dog so not all bad.

Not high nor drunk. But I have 3 kids under 2. Newborn twins are about 6 weeks old and oldest is nearly 2. All that to say - it feels like I’m high and drunk due to lack of sleep.

Fucking sucks man. Going through a divorce right now after 12 years of marriage. Not that it makes things any better, but I feel your pain and misery loves company.
