This is how I feel too. In the spring game he looked like he had never played QB in his life. He's probably not going to be our next 3-year starter or anything, but he's surpassed my expectations big time. And since Sims has been a surprise in the OPPOSITE direction, I have no problem rolling with Henry for the rest of the year and hopefully getting some kind of offensive rhythm going with the few tools we have at our disposal this year.
Are we talking freshman/first 2 games Sims or Sophmore/Junior Sims? I disagree if we can find junior Sims in there.
If he can complete 15-20 yard dig route, count me in.

Thats one of the big knocks on HH. Been brought up by writers and even by many connected posters that in practice he really struggles with throws over 10 yards. Not sure how easy of a fix that is. Defenses can really stack the box against him making it hard on an Offensive Coordinator to call a balanced game. Makes HH very easy to defend. Those saying Satt sucks at playing calling or as an OC can't hold him accountable if we are playing a 1 Dimensional QB. HH has improved a ton since Spring Ball where he really struggled. Wondering if Purdy has also improved as I feel he has the most potential to be a balanced QB. He didn't look bad at QB when he started as a Freshman for Florida St.
He made a great throw to Washington against Michigan that looked like a 15 yard dig but could have been a post which is what I was referring too. Hit him right in stride but that's the only one I've seen him do it on so can he do it consistently? Who knows. It's sad Nebraska hasn't been able to get a competent QB since Armstrong. Hopefully those times are about over.
His arm slot looks like a second baseman's in baseball.
that is also probably the worst passing QB we have had this century. HH has not been a good thrower in practice or games so far. Look at our offensive numbers and I'm not sure how anyone can be happy with any of our QB play. HH doesn't throw well or have a good feel for the position. And to run the option the QB does have to occasionally or at least once pitch the ball. I think we will really struggle to beat any of the mid to upper B1G teams with HH running the offense due to his QBing limitations. Too easy to defensive game plan against.
Every completion he had IIRC he locked in on his primary though. I have to think Fat Bert will have an answer for that.
