If he would have made better decisions before taking the job probably could inch higher to a B or B+. Satterfield has always been what he was, these last two years just unfortunately validated it. I'm not mad about the Foley hire, just didn't know it would go that bad. White who was the only one Rhule didn't have a previous coordinator experience with is the best hire on that level which is interesting.
You guys? I gave him a C-I was never arguing in the first place. I'm just trying to figure out what your grading scale is based on.
You guys are the ones telling people they're idiots for grading above a D.
I probably mixed up you and Choca posts. You guys? I gave him a C-
The only person I called an idiot (tard) was the person who gave him an A-

You will upgrade your grade to at least a C or else you will never live down this shame.Love you man, but given the roster and the fairly easy schedule, a likely losing record earns a B-?

Easy schedule for who, our opponents? Nebraska was one of the easiest games on every conference teams schedule. We haven't been to 6 wins since 2016, Rhule literally got us to this mark for only the second time in a decade and we have people saying it's not good enough. Can't just snap your fingers and say "we are Nebraska don't you remember" in 2024.Love you man, but given the roster and the fairly easy schedule, a likely losing record earns a B-?
I'm not sure if anyone besides you two is sure what argument you're having. This is a completely different argument than the one we're having
I'll summarize, I know it's not easy to follow an argument you're not a part of.I'm not sure if anyone besides you two is sure what argument you're having.
Choca, you might be taking crazy pills. ESPN FPI has our SOS at 10th (see link below). I don’t think anyone thinks the 10th hardest slate with two or three playoff teams is a “fairly easy schedule.”Love you man, but given the roster and the fairly easy schedule, a likely losing record earns a B-?

Choc gave HCMR a D grade
Choc said his preseason expectation for wins was anywhere from 4 to 7
Jim said basically "well we won 6 so that's above average on your scale, that means you need to grade at least a C"
This is obviously absurd
I know you don't understand this, which is what we've been trying to explainI don't understand having an expectation of 4-7 wins preseason and getting to 6 results in a D grade.
We went over this exact thing last Saturday night, Choca. I know you’re better than this.Choca, you might be taking crazy pills. ESPN FPI has our SOS at 10th (see link below). I don’t think anyone thinks the 10th hardest slate with two or three playoff teams is a “fairly easy schedule.”

How would you rank Kirby in that scenario? You're the one predicting 1-11 at best. You must have had reasons for that. Did you find out everyone on the team has cancer? If everyone got cancer and Kirby pulled in students to go 2-12 you'd probably give him an A.I know you don't understand this, which is what we've been trying to explain
Let's try an extreme example
Let's say most people expect Georgia to win 10 games next year. But I think, for whatever reason, that Georgia is going to be absolute dogshit. I think they're going to go either 0-12 or 1-11. As it turns out, Georgia goes 2-10.
Do I need to give Kirby Smart a C or better, because his 2-10 record was better than my rock bottom low expectations, or could I give him an F?
Give me a break dude. If Kirby Smart goes 2-10 at Georgia he gets an F. Choc's 4-7 prediction doesn't mean he's happy with 7 wins. This isn't 5% as complicated as you're making it.How would you rank Kirby in that scenario? You're the one predicting 1-11 at best. You must have had reasons for that. Imagine a teacher gives you an assignment and says these are the 12 things I want you to do for your assignment. I expect you to get at least 4. I'll be amazed if you get more than 7.
You get 6 and teacher gives you a D.
Lol I think you're making it more complicated. It's Chocas grade. He had the expectation of 4-7. Why would his expectations not factor in to his grade?Give me a break dude.
