I have a membership at a simulator place and play on the trackman a few times a week before work. Right now on the global tournament the low score (for a 9-hole round) is -27 because there are losers out there who make a new account, play a few garbage rounds to make their handicap in the 50s, then play in the tournament. Btw these aren’t even for cash. Unbelievably pathetic

So this is something, but people play these indoor golf tournaments for cash on trackman. I typically look at the guys on the top of the leaderboard and the bottom of the leaderboard. This guy is the best psycho outburst guy I've seen 🤣 🤣 🤣

I just noticed ole Zach Johnson is doing pretty well in Hawaii. He has a bunch of Kinesio Tape on his arm.

Wonder if he’s playing the Waste Management this year? 😂

The really stupid trend is people cheating at scrambles, coming in at 24 or more under par. Then when you look up their HDCPs they’re all 18.0’s or worse 😂.

My suggestion is that scramble winners should have to go out and “prove it,” like in HORSE. You go out with your group and play a par 3, 4, and 5 in front of the whole tournament field. If you don’t finish those holes aggregate of 3 under or better, you forfeit all winnings and are blackballed.

A lot of these are 4-man scambles, so most course won’t put out groups of 8 for pace of play purposes, which I get. If you’re playing for any type of cash prize, you don’t really have a choice but to play 8’s for accountability though, even if it means 6+ hr rounds.

most of the stupid low scramble scores you see online are just bullshit charity events with no real prize and a bunch of dumb extra rules like unlimited mulligans, etc to lower the score

any legit scramble is like you said, 2 groups matched up. the one thing I miss about Nebraska is all the fun small town scramble tournaments where you can get some serious money on the line, but you'll always have groups paired together

Almost as dumb as the cheaters are the guys who dont log bad rounds to keep their handicap lower than it should be.

Im around a 12 and I still laugh when I beat guys straight up who are “close to scratch”.
