First 5 games

Momentum is everything, we beat Illinois and then the next two scrubs, we should be in good shape for the rest of the year. Illinois is a huge game, As crazy as it sounds, that might be the most important game of Frost's tenure at Nebraska so far.

Lose that game and it could spiral quickly. I'm nervous af about that game.
If the team is so mentally fragile that they can't take an L and bounce back, we're gonna have a bad time

The Big 10 giving Maryland and Rutgers money upfront and easy schedules vs. fvcking over Nebraska for a decade will always be amazing to me but not surprising given most Universities in the Big 10 do not care about sports and think they are a diet coke Ivy League school.

"Ugh there are some men at the bar next door watching the Sports-ball on the television. They are so loud I can't hear the sommelier tell me the wine special." -- 3/4 of Big 10 Universities

Every person I’ve ever met that graduated from a Big Ten school not named Cockeye has this false sense of superiority.

Then when they start talking about sports my mother could literally talk them out of a room.

I want our guys to expect to win the OU game and be pissed if they don’t. If they lose that one and then pack it in for the year because we can’t bounce back it’s time to fire everyone associated with football and pull every scholarship.

I feel like they had that mentality going into Ohio State last year and when it didn't go their way it went downhill.

I would disagree. I think the mentality was pretty good going into the next week which was Wisconsin. Then we didn’t play. Then we ran into NW which was a combo of them being better than anyone thought and us once again making dumbfuck penalties that make 2nd and 3, 2nd and 8.

4-1 to start the year. Offense will be hot, but not quite enough against OU who will out spread us. 42-24ish probably. We'll find out the psyche of the team after that.

We haven't really had the horses to run the whole playbook since Frost has been here. Having legit receivers shouldn't look like the same team.

Have read that a few times over the last few years. What exactly does the whole playbook look like? Cause the current one is struggling.

I would say against Minnesota, Illinois and Ohio State in 2018
when JD went out it went to shit. the wide receiver overhaul cannot be overstated how important it will
be this season. No more skinny dudes no more 5’7 slow guys. 6’+ studs

2-3. People really think we will only lose to Oklahoma by 7-14 points??? Maybe after the first quarter. We will lose by 28-31. 2-3 after the first 5.

I want to see what we look like. I can see how it can be close if we have a few things happen.

I just have zero faith in us doing that.

Oklahoma rarely beats teams in the Big 12 who actually care about defense by 28. Problem with that is this should be the best Oklahoma team of Lincoln era

Think last half of 2018. That’s what it’s suppose to look like.
Shit, I don't even know if 2018 is where to look. I'd still say UCF 2017. UCF used empty sets+4 WRs constantly and were super aggressive in the vertical passing game. We haven't really had the depth at WR to do that all since Frost has been here. Look at the receiving stats for UCF 2017 (Otis Anderson played Wandale's position) v. NU 2018. Shit. Warner started 7 games in 2018. That's not the way it's supposed to look.
