Favorite "Non-Contributor" of All Time

Tobi Okeymi?*spelling

Dude kept sliding into my girls dms back in the day. Had some fisticuffs at a party house over it. I was a wrestler and did jui jitsu for 12 years prior to this. I am not ashamed to say that his strength was unreal. He did not damage me because I knew how to use his leverage against him. But I was happy that was broken up after a bit by some of his teammates I was friends with.

I drank with him quite a few times after that. All was cool. He just loved bitches.

Honorable mention or I should say dishonorable mention -

Joe Carter taught me how to roll a two gram blunt. Dude was the biggest human, while simultaneously being the biggest piece of shit. Always wonder what he would’ve been like had he applied any effort to anything other than the pot.

Boaz Joseph. Guy never did much aside from special teams. But he had a good grill and was an really nice kid. I always wanted him to succeed.

Also shout out to Alonzo Whaley. Great dude.
Zo is the shit. Very solid dude.

Charles Jackson. I thought that dude was gonna be the next great CB.
That's a good one great kid but couldn't stay healthy. For some reason he reminded me of LB Chris Williams from Texas - 4 star, Parade All American, etc, etc. Tripped over the yardage chains his senior year or something like that screwed up his knee and was never the same after.

God dammit this was gonna be my pick, got to the 3rd to last post, ha.

Titus Brothers solely because he had the coolest name ever. How was a guy named Titus Brothers not better at football? It still baffles me.

Ryon Bingham had the most badass recruit picture in that year’s media guide. Similarly baffling career.

I spent what, 7 years believing in Avery f’ing Anderson

Also Randy Stella and LeKevin Smith obviously weren’t non-contributors but they fell far short of my, as this post suggests, outrageously high expectations. I still remember going back and forth with a friend in HS outlining the future depth chart and discussing Smith in terms of how many 1st team All America seasons he’d have before leaving early.

Bingham was first team all big 12, got drafted and played five or six years in the league
