Came to post same, nice

I don’t even remember if this kid was a decent high school player
My West Point people told me Micah was the 2nd best player on their team. Take it for what it is worth but some said he was a good kid and hard worker but only got the offer because of his dad's connections with T.O added to his dad's willingness to donate some cattle/beef to the training table. They thought T.O pulled the puppet strings with Bo to get him the offer and be Bo's first recruit as a Head Coach.

It's between Adam Taylor, the RB from Texas, who never contributed or the 'he's still young but will grow' OT from Canada, David Knevel.
who was that OG that was like 16 when he got to campus? he's the all-time king of "he's still young but next year... look out!"

Didn't Whaley have a 5* RB brother? Maybe wound up at TX?

He went from a big RB to eventually a DT when he was at Texas -

I don't know if this counts, but I did like Tim Marlowe. He did contribute some, but I believe injuries kept him from contributing more. He seemed to always be very dependable.

I was in HS when Strickland was at BW. That guy was the type of athlete that whatever sport he wanted to focus on he'd be a professional.

Was all-state in football as a SO then decided to do basketball/baseball. Played in the NBA in one, Minor League Baseball in the other.
Did you watch the hoop it up with him and Woolridge?
