Lincoln High at Omaha Central. Week prior there was a huge fight at Central's homegame we were were told a strict zero tolerance with on field language, behavior, and taunting.

I'm on Lincoln High's sideline and after a hard hit near me, I hear the N bomb allegedly fly from Lincoln High's sideline. Launch my flag and run and report to white hat my unsportsmanlike on Lincoln High's bench. He signals it and we start to march it off.

As I go over to Coach Macke to explain which kid it was and what he said in a very PC way, this kid is absolutely yelling and pleading he didn't say that and I'm wrong. I tell him I know what I heard and if he continues I'm tossing him with his 2nd UNS.

My college roommate, who coached at High, then walks up to Coach Macke and I and politely says, "all he did was yell Nagor's name." and started laughing.

I'm dead inside, but laughing that now I have to explain this misunderstanding to my white hat, which he forces me to go to the other sideline to explain to Central's coach who wasn't happy.

Following year I'm on Coach Macke's sideline again and he reminds me that they no longer have a Nagor on roster.
