Fall camp thread 2024

Greg Sharpe said HH had a dildo in his ass? I guess I missed that

He can move side to side and block better than Fidone, especially from the H-back spot. It's why first game of 2023 we subbed guys in like.... wait for it..... Haarberg for Fidone. He also can throw better than Fidone.

Still not taking Fidone off the field much because I expect an all-conference year out of him, but there are definitely things HH can do better than pretty much anyone you would list offensively dependent on situation. I believe that's why our coaches are adamant to get him on the field.
If what you're saying is true, that HH is a better blocker than our best TE then we need to reevaluate that position from a coaching standpoint. Let's say that it is true, though. Is HH a better blocker than Boerkircher, Lindenmeyer, Flynt, Ingwerson, and Rollins as well?

I don't have the idea of him being a short yardage wildcat QB on infrequent occasions. But the idea that he's got a better skillset than our scholarship TEs despite being smaller than them and having very little practice at the position seems questionable to me. I certainly don't see any justification for him getting 15 snaps per game, but maybe Satt has something incredible drawn up for him that will show us all how dynamic he can be.

Just trying to give you the coaches perspective here...

You don't think there's anything that HH can do better on the football field than those two? Not one thing?
Passing and running in a straight line?

I can't imagine he's a better route runner, pass catcher or blocker than those two.

We all know football is plagued on a grid. If so, HH (which now that I think about it feels Nazi-ish to type - not his fault at all) is our man!

All joking aside I think we'll see HH in the game here and there. He's a big kid that can run pretty well if he gets to his early season running as opposed to running 15-20 times a game avoid getting hurt running later in the year.

People will get hurt as the year goes on and assuming he's not one of them his snaps will increase.

Knock on wood it's not because Raiola is hurt.
