That's the random guy that got PT on passing downs last year right? He's got a pretty good pass rush.

Not really a "random guy." Knighton saw the potential on scout team and talked to White about special packages for him.

But I have heard that the staff REALLY thinks they have someone with him. I believe I heard that they believe that if he would have played a second year of JUCO that he would have been a national recruit. I think we'll see him on the field more and more this year.

I really don’t hold the punting thing against Foley.

1. Let’s be real, a special teams coach isnt teaching a punter or a kicker anything technique wise they didn’t know in 8th grade.

2. They’ve brought in punters and kickers to compete with the ones they inherited.

Could have been more aggressive getting someone to replace Buschini I suppose.

Completely agree. He is a back that routinely will turn a zero-yard gain into a 2-3 yard gain. However, runs that could easily turn into 15+ yard runs will just be 5 yard gains.

Buschini has done nothing but regress since being here. He was better at Montana and looked like he had a very high ceiling when he transferred. Why does every ST kicker come here and suddenly be unable to do the job they’ve done for years (Alvano)?

Where did you see this? McGahee is starting out at JACK and that is a very deep spot. Shavers is at ILB which would make sense to get a lot of reps at while they try to protect Bullock from injury.

Shoot, IDK. Some linebacker position. When I noticed him he was off the line and didn’t have a hand on the ground.
I’m not saying he’s the starter, but he was someone who rotated in with the 1s. I remember first looking up who 17 was because I was looking for Shavers and thought it might be him.
