The plot thickens.....
It takes time to process the paperwork. Pretty sure Nebraska looked at his transcript and on the surface it looked good. Once the compliance people looked at it they found something that made him ineligible. It would be like your doctor looking at an X-ray and saying it all looks good but we need to have a specialist look at it also. The specialist then says you have a hairline fracture...is it the doc's fault he didn't see the fracture? No, he's not the specialist. In this instance the compliance dept is the specialist, they found the fracture and sent the kid home to get it fixed. Now it's on Jackson to fix his shit so he can play ball again. That's fucking retarded. If NU said "yeah, we'll take your commitment, come on up" without looking at his transcripts then they are at fault. Even worse, if they looked at them and said "yeah, you're good to go academically, come on up" but made a mistake then they are really at fault. What a cluster.
Every major program has people that check into shit like this. Shouldn't even be an issue. The only way it is his fault is if he needed a certain grade and didn't get it and didn't find out until after he got here.
Dean's just reporting what he knows....He put Jackson's shit on blast, he shouldn't have...Dean's a toolY'all (Dean) blow me
-Deondre Jackson, probably
I'm hoping for the funniest outcome, whatever that may be. Feels like kid ends up N and then transfers after spring ball is the funniest outcome.Really rooting for Dean to be wrong on this. Not so much for Jackson, but for Dean.
I'm not a big Dean hate guy, but the fact he doesn't have a source on when the new RB coach was being announced but does on some weird alleged idiosyncrasies of admission after 25 years in the biz is fucking hysterical. The backpedaling Doughboy Dean is gonna have to do on this one is going to be so hilarious that I might be ordering a Jackson jersey once his number gets assigned.
that's twice today I've seen the word idiosyncrasies or idiosyncratic....what the hell is the world coming toI'm not a big Dean hate guy, but the fact he doesn't have a source on when the new RB coach was being announced but does on some weird alleged idiosyncrasies of admission after 25 years in the biz is fucking hysterical.
Sorry for my book learning.that's twice today I've seen the word idiosyncrasies or idiosyncratic....what the hell is the world coming to
The whole sequence on the RB hire was hysterical. He says Frost has interviewed a couple of people but it's more important to get this right than fast, so it might take a while. A couple of hours later, Frost hires one of the guys it previously was important not to hire just to be fast, and then Dean has to slobber all over the hire, pretending he didn't write the thing he posted at the top of his board earlier in the day.I'm not a big Dean hate guy, but the fact he doesn't have a source on when the new RB coach was being announced but does on some weird alleged idiosyncrasies of admission after 25 years in the biz is fucking hysterical.
I'm all for book learnin'Sorry for my book learning.
Is deondre the last to know?Gabriel of the LJS confirmed Dean’s story.
So in your scenario you are expecting DJ to see what the doc couldn't and only the specialist could? It takes time to process the paperwork.
