The tea leaves insinuate a big issue between the staff and the Raiolas. Rhule's IG story and Dylan changing his IG profile picture to his brand would indicate there's a lot at play.
Had to look this up. Lmfao if he’s calling the Raiolas 8 year old child’s.

Also runza burgers are elite. Better 15 years ago but elite still

To be fair, it was our second most efficient game (only counting P4 opponents). Maryland was #1 despite the 3 turnovers.

@ Maryland - 59 plays - 453 yards - 34 points. 7.68 yards/play - 0.58 pts/play
@ UCLA - 54 plays - 361 yards - 28 points. 6.69 yards/play - 0.52 pts/play

But the point remains. 361 yards was our 2nd highest yardage output (!!). We hadn't gone over 300 yards of offense since Maryland (!!). The offense hadn't been living up to expectations all season. Akron was a bit of fools gold. We led ourselves to believe that only elite offenses put up 60+ points and 700+ yards no matter who the opponent, and that was wrong. Something was exposed after Michgan and most teams were able to duplicate it and stymie us.

Sorry for the digression.
But zero turnovers and boneheaded plays vs. UCLA. Red Zone Offense was better.

None of that is really a new development tho.
He knew at minimum his brother would be here for 1 year with him. Most likely 2. And then Nebraska has had Lateef this whole time and the other 2027 dude committed for a while now.

After the success of TJ last week, I think it was more pronounced. Believe the reality’s been setting in for some time and that just drove it home. Again, highly doubt this has anything to do with Dylan.

This is really my biggest issue with the whole thing. Have a QB in our backyard committed to a CFP team that we ignored because we had Dayton committed already. Again, we had to ignore him and not recruit him, but man...
I live in Millard and have never heard anyone say he would even entertain NU. Have you heard differently?

Again, it was against a really bad UCLA team who likely end this season 3–9 with half a dozen blowout losses.

Not to diminish what TJ accomplished…That was an amazing debut, but let’s put it into a little context. The last three games will tell us everything we need to know.

Raiola has played some really bad P4 teams and hasn’t played as well as TJ did

Another factor: If you’re running the program like a business and you know a guy is overpaid for what he brings to the table, what do you do? Dylan is commanding a huge chunk of Rev Share. If he leaves, that frees up money to target other positions of need. Kind of a Moneyball approach, do you use $2M on 1 player or spread it over 4 players that can shore up the OL/DL/LB? Especially knowing LaTeef won’t command the same amount?

Biggest 🚩 with Dayton is the timing.

When Nebraska offered him he was a fat short kid who’s never played varsity football but he’s Dylan’s brother. So if they get Dylan cool.
He’s started for two years and got less fat but the narrative hasn’t really changed much at all. Not a great prospect who’s coming because of Dylan. No one has really even tried to fight the narrative and say he’s a good prospect in his own right.

If Dylan is going to be here then on paper there is really no reason for him to leave
