Sayin and Stockton at Georgia are both superior QB’s in arm talent, accuracy, and decision making. Dylan wouldn’t be starting at either of those two schools.
Sayin only went to Ohio state because Raiola left.
They were in the same class

Highest rated prospect in the history of the program at the most important position by a country mile. We’re ready to cut ties because we have a mini Adrian Martinez that ran roughshod against the 120th ranked scoring defense, precisely one time.
It's fascinating.

Having said that the next 2 games will tell us something.

Raiola has played some really bad P4 teams and hasn’t played as well as TJ did

In a sample size of one game…OK (also I disagree with original assertion). Again, I’m not saying he won’t be “the man” next year, but think some of you are really putting a ton of weight, on a single game, against a bad team…but you do you.

.

Benning has been driving the point home this morning that this is all related to Rhule's comments on Glenn Thomas in his presser earlier this week.

I guess he's alluding to some friction between outside people and their perception of Thomas. Benning dances around a lot, so it's hard to make heads or tails.
What was Rhule comments on Thomas?

I won’t read into the Rhule post, but I will read into this.

Dylan in the portal. Donnie gone. TJ QB. Spend Dylan’s $2 million on OL. Profit.
Don’t cry when we look like Cockeye offensively next year because you all got excited off of 1 game against the worst team in the conference with no coach.

I think it had to do with the Raiola family jerking aorund Ryan Day. I don't think he felt the juice was worth the squeeze on Dylan. They ended up signing Air Norland in that class, who then trasnferred to S. Carolina when Sayin trasnferred from Bama.

College football fans can be incredibly shortsighted…most popular player on the team is generally the backup quarterback.

This is the reason a head coach should never (and seldom does) listen to the fans.

people are also weighing what we've seen from Dylan in 22 games.

Raiola has not played a P4 defense as bad as UCLA's.

Like @SantaBarbaraSker has been saying, I'm happy for TJ and hope he does the same against Penn St and Cockeye, but the UCLA game wasn't some grand turning point for the offense or the team or the program. We beat a really bad team by 7.
