This obvious fake info that I provided made me think of something...

Strictly from an accounting standpoint @Jim14510 - could a player choose to deny a schollie so as to have all of their costs to attend school be a write off for tax purposes? They have to be enrolled in a school to make their NIL money, so theoretically they could write off all school related costs, yeah?

No difference. Scholarship that goes towards school isn't taxable either.
