New Commit DANE KEY IS N (but mostly ‘husker great’ talk)

At 49 years old, I didn’t get a chance to see Jet play, but if there was a more dominant Nebraska player than Suh at his position, I haven’t seen him. He was a man amongst boys.
My sacrilegious Husker take is that Suh disappeared at times, and wasn't as consistent as a man of his immense skills should have been.

Absolutely unstoppable & the most dominant player in CFB when he was dialed in, though.

I don’t know how anyone can look at his stat line in 2009 and reach the conclusion that he was remotely less consistent than he should have been.

Let's talk about the only Tommy we should talk about...Tommy Armstrong. Greatest Husker QB since #7 won the Heisman.

He had about a third of his production in one game.

Again, he was great. A good player even if he was going 80%. Just didn't see that Texas game ferocity each game. Still probably should have had the Heisman.

not a high bar that... Joe ganz, Taylor martinez, zac Taylor, Sam Keller, Tanner Lee, Adrian, may I go on?

I think he did disappear at times but think that was because he was taking double and triple teams. Just look at Crick stats that year. Crick was a good DT. One of the better DT's Nebraska has had but he probably had the easiest DT job in the country next to Suh.
