Here's how we're doing in some key categories 1/3 thru the season. Wishful Thinking and Realistic Goal were barometers chosen before the season. The categories are things I track because over the past 8 months I've heard Rhule or other coaches mention their importance.

One caveat with Pts/RZ Att. On offense it's not nearly as good as it looks because, although we're being really efficient in the RZ, we're not getting in the RZ enough. Good teams average 4+ RZ att/game. We're averaging 2.5 RZ att/game. Good teams average 24+ RZ pts/game. We average 14.8 RZ pts/game. That's terrible.

On the flipside, our defense is giving up too many touchdowns in the RZ, but we don't allow people down there as often. Teams average 3 RZ att/game against us, which is top 25 level. We give up 16 RZ pts/game, which is roughly 50th.
