I wonder if the league would make that call. Because it looks like a Bills forfeit to me, should they choose not to resume the game. And everyone would understand WHY they chose to forfeit at this point.

YUGE playoff seeding implications, though.
Goodell will rightly take a lot of shit if the game restarts.
 
If he’s at the hospital, we should know soon…if he’s alive and in critical condition or if he sadly passed.

I don’t disagree. I just don’t know “how” they resolve the current contest in what is clearly an unprecedented situation for the NFL. Playoff implications abound.

And if they forfeit, the Bills would be in the losing column - presumably. Which I'm sure no players or coaches really care about. It's just that someone has to lose and someone has to win.....or TIE for that matter.
 
Apparently when Hughes passed on the field in 1971, they still played the game. Again, that was 1971, but just saw that on Twitter.
