Maybe. You also have to remember that there's risk in literally everything in life - everything.

There's been millions of sporting events over the last 150 years and it's exceedingly rare that someone passes away during competition. Football of all sports likely has the greatest chance of that happening, and I've never seen it in my lifetime that I can remember. I'm 55 years old.

Let's just hope he wakes up and regains consciousness.

Oh I agree. This isn't the first time this has happened. Like 10 years ago pronger got hit in the chest with a puck then collapsed then a couple years ago it happened to another STL Blues player.
