I'm not even sure that they are wanting to wait until spring, It sounds like they still believe that another QB potentially will enter the portal, and if he does decide to, he will be N. Sounds like this mystery QB is higher on the board and they are waiting on him to decide. Who the hell knows...but I have a bad feeling about this...

We certainly could do worse than Brock Purdy for a 1 year, rent-a-QB.
