CFB Expansion Talk

Gotta hit the PAC. It's a long shot, but a big pull from there could get bigger contracts for everyone. Get Kansas and aim for 5 more schools. 4 pods of 5.
Hit the PAC's biggest revenue producers. Talk to Virginia. Maybe even talk to Texas A&M. A&M is the first or second biggest in revenue and poaching them would be a blow to the SEC.

Rumor on Reddit about Ed Stewart turning down the AD job to be next in line for Big 12 Commissioner.

I am on a group text. Mostly olds. Someone just suggested Texas leaving the Big 12 is our change to rejoin the Big 12. Add BYU. Alberts will help negotiate a massive TV deal. Recruiting will blow up in Texas.

Some of our fans are idiots
lol

yes lets give up our 55 million a year payday so that we can play in a group of 5 conference and make 15 million a year

What if this shit really happens and our conference ends up looking like this:

Division: USC, Oregon, Stanford, Washington, Cal, UCLA

Division: Nebraska, Minnesota/Cockeye, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona

Division: Minnesota/Cockeye, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois, Indiana

Division: OSU, Michigan, MSU, Maryland, Rutgers, PSU

Is there a Husker fan that wouldn't be happy with that? Tell me that wouldn't be good for us in the long term.

tell you what, we get back to running the damn ball then and that's a yearly battle between us and the cockeyes for the division trophy.

@Kaladin Minnesota has stronger ties to Wisconsin than Cockeye, and we're closer to Cockeye, so I'd say the divisions would reflect that.

We would get the financial benefits and the stability of the Big 10, plus a division that would could win every year. Plus we could start recruiting in Arizona again. Utah and Colorado recruiting might improve too. And instead of going to Wisconsin for an away game we would be going to Arizona or Utah or Colorado, or driving down to Kansas.

If the B12 dissolves, and Kansas, Oklahoma and Cockeye lite go to a G5 conference it will help our recruiting in the 500 mile radius.

I mean, everything is on the table right? Maybe the leftovers will invite NDSU, SDSU and South Dakota to a watered down conference - kidding. Sort of.
