Eh. He's actually been pretty freaking solid the past 11 years... 97-43 isn't awful.
Average of basically 9 wins a year (taking out 2020, 6-2) with some 12 win seasons in there. They were definitely 2 close losses from a playoff this year.
But this goes back to the general question of what ceiling should be acceptable. I don't think anyone expects Kirk to win a ship at Cockeye...
But right now we badly need to get back to respectable then we can talk about whether we want to do what it takes to be a big boy program again.
