All due respect to Ervin because I'm sure he's a great guy and all, but unfortunately it already feels like he's a 7th year senior even though he's never had a chance to get out of the starting blocks because of injuries. Seems like every offseason people talk about how "he was showing flashes before he got hurt" and penciling him in as a possible starter, but I don't have any memories of him looking special in games.
I'd be surprised if he was here after the spring.

I wouldn’t sell Gabe off just yet. He’s our best blocker by far and if we’re going to run a bunch of PA this year I can see us highly valuing that ability.

Found this interesting. Colorado podcast that is disappointed in the hypocrisy coming out of Boulder, where the players leaving are crap and don't want to compete and the transfers in are great and looking for better opportunities. Also at the end talks about how everyone in Boulder, staff and media are scarred to say something against the party line and just agree with whatever Sanders says, whether it makes sense or not. There are going to be so many good stories coming out after Sanders "retires for medical reasons" after the season. The whole program is just teetering on the edge.

Sanders is so full of shit.

If the last 8-9 years have taught us anything it's that some Americans just like being lied to. Little lies, big lies, subtle lies, obviously lies, whispered lies and bombastic lies. Obviously a portion of college football players and fans are a part of that group as well. Nebraskans aren't immune. I bought our last leader's bullshit at first but eventually saw through the web of nonsense. Now he's been ostracized from a big portion of former die hard supporters. But make no mistake, Frost lied plenty and now he's facing the reality of his lies

They don’t want to compete because they were promised they wouldn’t have to. He told basically all those RBs they’d be “the guy” and then it didn’t happen. Deion is basically George Castanza.

That seems to be the online consensus. He has several connections to KSU. We just have to hope to get a visit from him. Then all bets are off. When he visited Lincoln during his first recruitement, he rated the visit at 12 out of 10. Hopefully he has good enough memories from that to give us a second look.
A 12 with Frost equals what under Rhule? Double? Triple? 100?

Gotta be N.

"Colorado will lose all four players who carried the ball more than two times last season."

hahaha
There’s a thread on tMB where all three CU fans are arguing that this isn’t a big deal because Edwards had been passed up by their three star true freshman and a white walk on at RB. They are saying he wasn’t even going to play RB but instead he’s just a slot receiver (and they don’t care about losing that because they have a freshman four star recruit who they think can do the same thing. One of them is consistently saying that the roster gets better and better after each portal window, because apparently they’re very high on Ohio State’s fourth string RB from last year.

I stopped arguing with them. You can't debate fools.

CU fans should get acquainted with the typical success rate for these 3rd/4th stringers from Ohio St, Alabama and Georgia that hit the portal.

Just going by our experience it's....not good.

At this point if we were to get a former 5* out of the portal who was 4th string at Ohio St, I'd be HIGHLY skeptical and expect the player to be a complete bust. CU is still at the point where they think these guys are gonna be Heisman contenders and 1st round draft picks.
