If I had to interpret this, it's that these conferences want multiple ACC schools & a move into a full power 2. Especially the B1G would absolutely want the Florida market, but this is trying to leverage things so it stays a multi-school deal, and not just being a lifeboat for one school.

When Brett knows things like this, it's usually because someone official is passing him the info to use him for their narrative.

It's not that the B1G doesn't want FSU, but in terms of other options, I think B1G wants Georgia Tech and Texas A&M (it's the Texas market for sure).
