I imagine Northwestern's NIL is absolutely terrible. That guy won't have another chance to get paid for playing football. Cockeye had to be the highest bidder.

Yep a NW education is superior value compared to NIL, they don't need it. Is how I imagine they view it from their nerdy ass ivory tower.

This is a lot of it. My wife worked for Northwestern in alumni relations. Prior to that she worked at Auburn. The attitude change causes whiplash.

My friends who are ASU fans were ready to give up on football between clinging onto a 2nd tier conference and the NCAA probation, so this is an excellent opportunity to really kick them when they're down

To be fair, the On3 crew basically used "he wants to be an influencer" as the entire rationale for UCLA as if the internet doesn't exist anywhere else
