TBF I haven't flown united in the past 3-4 years so maybe it's changed but man did they have some crappy planes for a while.

This is going to sound awful, sexist, misogynistic, whatever, but unit recently I had never seen a female pilot I’d have sex with.

That’s changed the last year or two on American, and it concerns the shit out of me….since I’d not be overly interested in letting them drive my truck.

I think it really depends on the ‘Where and To’ on your flights.

All of the short hops are typically older aircraft. Any of the major airlines have typically newer, nicer planes servicing their hub to hub flights and higher demand routes.

I took the Amtrak train for business last year and it was the easiest, nicest travel experience I had. Even upgraded to first class because it was so cheap. It would be fantastic if the US had a viable high speed train system.

+1 for Amtrak. Years ago I took Amtrak to Hastings from Lincoln to meet up with some buddies on a Colorado trip. I got pretty drunk in downtown Lincoln and the train was late. They let me board without a second glance and dropped me off at an open lot in Hastings. My wallet fell out of my pocket and they left it at the Denver station for me to pick up.

I'd take them again if I had several weeks to travel to a destination because it's slow as hell.

We do here in Fl. It’s nice. California is still working on theirs haha

You know what I like about airlines? Obese people.

In nyc this past December the weather forced our place to use a shorter runway and needed 8 people to agree to get off the plane for weight reasons.
Wife, 2 kids and myself took an offer from delta for $1,000 per seat, 1 free hotel room and $100 per person for food.

Left the next morning.

Was offered more money on Dallas to get off a flight from Dallas today. Only $750 this time. Renting a car.

Freaking yes. Can you imagine how awesome a high speed train that connected all the major cities would be??? That would be awesome
