After #2ndChoice most likely gets fired next year, UNL can finally make its move. Nothing screams program savior like hiring a head coach who’s currently 16–21. And let’s not forget, Wisconsin was 72–29 under Chryst when #2ndChoice took over — clearly a far more daunting rebuild than what Rhule inherited after Riley and Frost.

That is for sure a hot take! Will be interesting to watch. They have a hell of a chance to win it all this year and that will will resonate well with recruits and portal players. I personally think he's done a great job, and like him or not, he knows how to win. He's proven it everywhere he's gone. He's a 143 - 37 as a HC. I don't see him falling off a cliff. 6-6 for him would be like a 2 win season for Rhule...complete disaster!
