Key word - prepare. There are many local and small college coaches that have been to practices throughout the Hoiberg era and he does absolutely nothing in practices/workouts. He's the one that gets to stand up/walk the sideline during games. That's it.

I promise you every high level program's head coach does more than what Hoiberg does on a daily basis to help the team develop, prepare and execute in game situations. Assistants are assistants for a reason. They can't do all the work themselves. Give me a head coach that wants to be here and work.

Nate Loenser does all the heavy lifting. Hoiberg does nothing. IYKYK.

HA! Little do you know. Every HS coach in Lincoln and the metro knows this is true. Along with many small college coaches in Nebraska and Cockeye.

There are current players who believe that certain assistants are leaving this year due to this. Will I say what players? No. But you can certainly figure it out if you look at the roster.

I don't think it is exactly out of the ordinary, you know, for assistant coaches to be running certain drills and doing some game planning. I was watching Court of Gold recently and the assistant coach for Canada was running scout and the defense. What a novelty!
