You don't lose athletic ability because of a ACL reconstruction. He lost development time because of injury not athletic ability.
Every injury is different. It is wildly ridiculous for you to say this as you dig your heels in on this point.

I had seen it as of a few hours ago.I hope that's edited for her sake. If you pull up the post her comment isn't there.
I've had two myself. it's not a muscle tear, it's a structural issue in the knee and once repaired there isn't an issue. People were way overhyping him before the injury and claiming the injuries took away athletic ability that was never there. He wasn't fast before the injuries. I think it's wildly ridiculous to claim he was great before he played a down and say that the only reason he isn't great now is because of injuries. Orthopedic surgery has come a long ways since Gayle Sayers, shoot it's come a long ways since I had mine reconstructed.Every injury is different. Psych. Could be a grandmaA quick Google search informed me that His mom’s name is Jennifer - so it’s not his momma at least…

You are right every injury is different, but I didn't see a very different athlete before or after the injuries. He is what he is.

Weird. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong tweet.I had seen it as of a few hours ago.
The problem with the Fidone benching, if it was that, is the timing and inconsistently applying the same consequences across other positions. How many times has Benhart false-started in a crucial situation this year? 3 at least that I can think of. So is the standard the standard for everyone? Is the dropoff at RT so large that you have to live with Benhart making a bonehead mistake similar to what Fidone did? And if Boerk is simply a better option, why are you just now making the move?

Because there's a new sheriff in town, and his name is Holgs. The problem with the Fidone benching, if it was that, is the timing and inconsistently applying the same consequences across other positions. I think you're right that it comes down to the level of who would replace them. The problem with the Fidone benching, if it was that, is the timing and inconsistently applying the same consequences across other positions. It's funny...when I played Catholic school football back in the day (JR high) I actually got benched at the TE position for the better blocking TE. I was a 100x better receiver, but at that level you're doing 90% running plays so who cares. They actually didn't bench me, they moved me to left end (we ran all our running plays to the right). But the right end got all the passing routes, so left end was a F-U/demotion.In my opinion, I think Fidone not playing had to do with Boerk and Lindenmeyer being better blockers and really not giving up much as pass catchers.
