I thought he was getting interest from Texas but shut his recruitment down? Not uncommon for croots to have shitty offer lists if they stop playing the recruiting game.

Starts about 7 minutes in, nothing too groundbreaking. He likes the fanbase, Raiola, prefers the 3-3-5 Defense. It will be interesting to see what he says after his Alabama visit this weekend.

True. And the funny thing is, he's a top 250 player or better (top 100 on On.3) by all four services. This isn't one service being an oddball with a 4 star ranking.
He's taken lots of visits to Texas Tech. I would assume they are the favorite.

My first thought is it must be either grades or he's an absolutely stone cold lock to some Texas school and nobody else is even bothering to waste their time.

Of course he could flip to anyone at any moment, but he's going to camps with the camp crew that he came to Texas with when the alternative is to not go and crank it at the hotel (which would have been my choice but I'm not a D1 athlete)
