I’ve got to say Bruce Springsteen. Refused to play his biggest hits except Born To Run. Ended up standing the whole damn concert after paying big bucks since there were no floor seating to hear him plays songs off his new album that nobody cared about.

The Judds. Farewell Tour. Garth Brooks opened actually so there was that when he was new and good.

Casper , WY

Umphrey's McGee. Red Rocks. June 2019.

A huge thunderstorm came in midway through and sent everyone taking shelter in the visitor center packed like sardines or whatever other cover they could find. Eventually called the concert after waiting to see if it would pass over an hour later.

Umphreys fans soaking wet had to smell atrocious - this would be my winner

Alan Jackson in 96 when he played on base in San Diego. Emilio and Lean Rimes opened for him, but he played 3 full songs during his 1.5 hour set from what I can remember. Then I saw him again with Brooks and Dunn in 2007 in Virginia Beach and his show was much better.

I'm not sure if worst but most recently Modest Mouse at Outlandia music festival in Bellevue this past summer. Lead singer was so fucked up he was slurring the words and missing notes left and right

Lamb of god was opening for another band, literally walked out and waited for them to finish.
I do not understand how they keep getting big gigs. They are trash

Edit: I should probably clarify a little. I don’t really care for them to begin with but I saw them as a headliner at a music festival a couple years ago and they were VERY bad. And that wasn’t just my opinion. That was very much the prevailing opinion of everyone around us as well

Crossfade at the old Royal Grove here in Lincoln. They just weren't good live, but their opener was a band called April 6th. They were awesome.

I'd guess it wasn't just a bad night with Crossfade either. A year or two later I went to an all day music festival in Kansas City. Crossfade was 2nd or 3rd on the main stage that day. They were bad there too.

Another one I saw was Sarah Evans. At one point the lady was pretty dam hot and cold sing.

Both have passed her by. Her only defense is she was after a Colorado Rockies game. When you roll your sound equipment out after a game and in 15 minutes start singing around home plate there is bound to be issues. But she was just really bad.

Finger Eleven opened for another band about 15 years ago. Absolutely atrocious.
