Mostly because you want to jam something in your ears. You're 50% more likely to have hearing loss if you listen to country music on a regular basis.
I hadn't thought of that reason but it must be at least part of it.Mostly because you want to jam something in your ears.
I walked out of a U2 concert at Jack Murphy Stadium in 1997. I was floored how bad they sounded.I fell asleep at U2's concert a few years ago. Their new shit sucks and it was like 8,000 degrees in the CHI.
Of course they did. I like you so I'm going to ignore the rest of that paragraph.Rage Against The Machine opened for them and CRUSHED it.
Went to that show in Tempe because I won tickets from a Tucson radio station. You were supposed to play a game over the air to upgrade your U2 experience and I told them 'no thanks, only going to see Rage'.I walked out of a U2 concert at Jack Murphy Stadium in 1997. Rage Against The Machine opened for them and CRUSHED it. Was the first time I had ever paid attention to them. After a couple years though, I got tired of them because it seems like every one of their songs had the same music but with different lyrics. 🤌 But live, they were incredible.
😂Proud of you that you don't let politics affect your music.
For me Dave Matthew's Band at Sacramento amphitheater. I like them ok but they came out for 3 different encores. I was good with none.
NGL U2 and RATM is an odd pairingI walked out of a U2 concert at Jack Murphy Stadium in 1997. I was floored how bad they sounded.

U2 is the most over ratted band in history.I walked out of a U2 concert at Jack Murphy Stadium in 1997. I was floored how bad they sounded.

Here's one, I saw him perform back at halftime of an Omaha Nighthawks game, back when that league was making horrible financial decisions like that.Did you guys hear Nelly the other night during some football game? Think it was Texas?
Just a bunch of yell talking.

IMO hip hop does not translate well in a concert setting. Worst concert experience
No but I saw Nelly at halftime of a Omaha Nighthawks game back in the day and he was pretty good thenDid you guys hear Nelly the other night during some football game? Think it was Texas?

You can imagine how pumped the crowd was after watching him and about a half dozen hype men yell about half the lyrics, skip the other half, and shout random inanities throughout.
Omg maybe we sat by each otherNo but I saw Nelly at halftime of a Omaha Nighthawks game back in the day and he was pretty good then
Sorry about that. I had too many drinks and it just took a while to get off.IMO hip hop does not translate well in a concert setting. Worst concert experience: I saw Metallica a few years ago, they were great, but it didn't make up for the wife in front of me jerking off her husband for far too long.
Lame. Warped was great back then. Keep hoping they resurrect it with the success of the When You Were Young FestWarped Tour
In think I went in 2006 when it was in Denver
It was a lot of fun but also tiresome and there were so many potheads and fuckin' weirdos runnin' around. No matter how much I showered i still felt dirty for a few days afterward
