Kirk Ferentz has the personality of a Throw Pillow. What has he ever won? High floor but low ceiling. He's stubborn and refuses to adapt to the changing ways of the recruiting world. He can develop players and has outcoached Frost, but then again who hasn't outcoached Frost? Outdated and boring with limited success. Sad to see what some Husker Fans will settle for. Let's get us someone who gives us a chance of winning the B1G, or more

I'm not necessarily talking about Kirk's accomplishment. Personality wise and program identity wise, I think he meshes with what Turd wants. I don't think Turd is going to go out and hire a guy whose ceiling has been establish, but thinking about someone like my boy Lane Kiffin, that ain't Turd's style. I hope Turd is smart enough to know he has to hire a guy who is willing to throw his support behind the NIL stuff.
I'm not suggesting settling for anything or that I'd even want a dude like Ferentz. but I'm almost 99.999% confident that Turd isn't going to go get a guy who routinely blows his dick off in pressers and a guy who you can't answer the "what kind of program does he run?" Question in about 2 seconds

Based on what he did with Hockey at UNO I would guess he will not be afraid to swing for the fences with a really successful experienced coach.

Turd's kid graduated from West Point, he has watched a good amount of Army games, he has everything Turd wants in a HC as far as personality, etc...
Before you dismiss it completely, why do you think Army's OC/OL coaches were being rumored for our openings?
