Dawgs have a bye this weekend, N has Michigan. I'll be rocking my Husker gameday shirt for 1st time this year. Probably gonna get some strange looks from folks around here. I might even buy a bunch of sweet corn and a big Nebraska ribeye to enjoy during the game.

Stay away from the sweet corn.

It comes out just like it went in.

Not much here that would per say, "Scare me". He doesn't protect his body while running. If he decides to lower his shoulder this week he's going to be in for a rude awakening if Deshon is in front of him.

Displayed some touch but also put the ball in some dangerous spots that a better secondary would have really made him pay.

Again, I'm preaching to load the box and sell out to stop the run. I like our DB's more than I like their WR's.

The key to this game to me is going to be Nebraska winning on first down. If we can get Michigan into 2nd and 8+ consistently it will really tilt things in our favor. If Michigan is getting 2nd and 4, 2nd and 5, etc from first down runs we are in for a long day
IMO, chess match will be whether we're playing with extra guys in the box or run blitzing on early downs, & taking chances in the secondary. Possibly disguising looks & bringing guys up closer to the line late. Or showing a heavy look & backing out of it. Then does Michigan throw more on the early downs as a result?

In general, I think interim coaches are more likely to keep it vanilla or focused on team identity, rather than what the other D is doing, so hopefully JoBu picks his spots well & gets them out of their comfort zone.
