I complained a lot about him at the time. If you look back though he was the most exciting player at Nebraska from a long time before him and after him. He could have used some more help and if we had more players like him the last 20 years we would have won a lot more games.

He did a lot of goofy shit, but 2012 Martinez season was the best season by a QB since Crouch. Its not his fault Bo couldnt stop a jet sweep. Losses in 2012 Nebraska scored 30, 38, 31, and 31.

Honestly, this is the least anxious I've been about an opener in quite a few years. It's a good feeling. Super ready for it to be Thursday, but not at all concerned about the outcome. The only thing I'm really "anxious" about, is just how many TDs we'll win by will determine the urgency that this team has and just how much of a statement we want to make this season with what is possible. Start hot, get in a rhythm real early, and man Week 4 against Michigan should be heavily circled by Friday morning.
