If we were truly building a culture we wouldn't come out so flat in every non-CU game. Just a very low-energy program rn with players and coaches looking almost disinterested.

I don't know about that, but he did make some disastrous AC hires. Still a chance to build something successful here, but he's gonna have to swing the axe a bunch this off-season and reach outside of his comfort zone and make quality, experienced hires.

When has a Nebraska coach ever done that? It’s already too late once you get to that point. The program should be ascending in year 3, not restarting.

We are one win away from bowl eligibility halfway through the season with our only two losses being overtime to what’s looking like a damn good Illinois team and one of the hottest undefeated teams in the country right now. Hope this helps. It’s what I’m convincing myself of this morning.

I don’t think it’s over. But hopefully we’ve learned that maybe hiring a staff that was less experienced than the one that we had just fired was not a good idea.

The only predictive measure we have for a coaches success or failure is who he hires as assistants. Rhule massively failed on offense.

Every week in every league there is a game you’re going to have to score 30-40 points to win. Our current set up won’t accomplish that.

I'm not officially done with him but he needs to overhaul the staff. Coming into the season I always questioned the offense but figured the defense would hold their own. However Tony White is revealing himself to be as much of the problem. There is talent and depth on this defense but they were appalling yesterday. That was the worst defensive performance in years.

I’m far less bothered by the culture than the coaching. They had 2 weeks to prepare for that game and got boat raced. The players looked flat for sure but we got out coached from start to finish.

Was at the game yesterday....what a debacle. The offense looks completely lost. Several coaches need to go.

TW needs to get more aggressive. We are running a 3-3-5 that is meant to attack, but yet we rarely do.

Rhule is going to have to swing big and make some changes in the offseason or he will lose the base. The response at OSU will say a lot. I don't expect a win, but they better show some fight.

I'm trying not to let it ruin my weekend.

I think we are real weak at linebacker and parts of our secondary leave a lot to be desired. Their run fits have been garbage when playing teams with a spread.

Sims fucked Rhule out of earning some good will with the fans which is still Rhule’s fault. All he had to do was make a bowl game, but with the combination of poor game management and whiffing on Sims it was a missed opportunity.

I’m out on Rhule. This may have been excusable last year but not in year two.
Team looks like it’s going backwards. Keeping uncle donny was mistake in hindsight, we can’t run the ball on anyone with any kind of consistency. Sat sucks. Foley is a fucking idiot. McGuire needs his nuts to drop before he’s coaching Div 1 athletes.
Sadly we owe him too much money and we just dumped money into the athletic facilities. So he’ll get at least 4-5 years. Strap in for mediocre football and a lot of sales pitches at the press conferences.

Well, misery loves company and at least we’re not the only miserable fanbase. USC and OU fans also going through it. Sure, we got our ass blown open on national television, but at least people expect that to happen. They don’t really expect OU and USC to suck as bad as they do. Talk about doing less with more.
