Tony T to Oregon?

RB seems to have been a dead spot on the roster since Abdullah. Ozigbo had one pretty good season, but even then he didn't really get going until game 5-6. I don't know if that's Ron Brown, but the talent in the room certainly hasn't correlated with the results. Don't care who fills that role as long as we get productive RB play again. SF's comments sure made it seem like we'd go outside of Ron Brown w/ that hire though.

My only thought regarding your last paragraph is that I believe that for a running backs coach, development is more important than recruiting. Running backs with the raw athletic ability to perform at a power-5 level are honestly a dime a dozen. That’s why the NFL no longer drafts RB’s early at the rate they used to. They are more interested in fresh legs, durability, and athleticism and they know they can do the rest.

I don’t have the data or the time to back this up, but I would guess that in terms of recruiting services, stars do not translate to production at a higher frequency at the RB position than nearly every other position.

That’s why I think Ron Brown would be a good hire. RB development > RB recruiting.
In P5 football you can't be just a good recruiter or just a good developer. You have to do both. Slapping the "interim" tag on Brown - who is kinda meh as a recruiter - isn't a good solution.

As a fallback option if nobody decent will take the job, he's okay I suppose. We should be aiming higher though.

You should really quit posting
I'm sorry that it's the truth, but you can't say whatever you want while representing your employer. If free speech still existed there would still be nativity scenes in front of many businesses during the holidays.

Ok, this guy can safely be blocked and ignored. Just one stupid post after another today but this one cements it. Looney Toons.
Not sure what world you live in where you think what I posted was wrong, but it's not this one. Gruden got fired in the NFL for simply sending emails.

Some people just have such a blind hatred for Frost (and apparently Brown for some dumb reason) that they will find a way to steer literally every thread to be something he's done wrong.

The results have sucked. That's why half the coaching staff is being replaced. The replacements have been above expectations.
The only one I really am not excited for is Raiola.... But I would say I'm skeptical.

Amen. And there should be if that's what the employer wants to celebrate. But the cancel culture has forced Christianity "underground", which I suppose was their interim goal. Long term, I believe they want a secular-free America, which will bump up against a lot of the values with made and continue to make this country great. My $0.02 worth.

No way, you can’t say faggot on RSS and I just said faggot. And @rss428 is trying to claim Ron Brown will get in trouble for not supporting the lifestyle and choices of faggots. Anybody that would persecute or prosecute RB for not believing in a faggot’s way of life is probably a faggot that needs counseling and needs to find God.
Take a step back and literally fuck your own face

Cancel culture is the most meaningless term of 2021.

Little aggressive. Troll level almost.

And people everywhere are clapping back at cancel culture...politically correct to woke to cancelled…the 2% of fringe will get pushed back on pretty hard.

Tip of the hat to Netflix for not removing Chappelles special…huge move. And pretty amazing that both Chappelle and Louis C.K. Are nominated for Emmys.

I think @rss428 needs to go back to the echo chamber on the sacred scrolls and quit making something out of nothing. If a kid is that big of a snowflake and doesn’t like Ron Browns religious views, he can go somewhere else.

I just think he's a problem waiting to happen. That's all. It's a little weird that so many of you can't see that. Nebraska has taken enough abuse from the national media. It doesn't need anything else bad to happen until they can win some damn games.

What's tough is that being firm in your own opinions, if it goes against society in 2021, is "bad". Feels wrong on so many angles regardless of what you believe in.
