Thought for midseason: Satterfield ain’t it (Edit: yes, he was the issue)

Wonder if Rhule hiring a staff significantly less experienced at basically every position coach than Coach Scrote (RIP in Peace) staff should be a talking point this week (and probably the remainder of the likely 0-6 finish)
i think some of us brought it up when rhule was the hire to begin with. but were met with aggressively unhinged window licking optimism.

Yeah I'm not going to go find the posts, but there were quite a few people who were concerned about it. I know there are staffs at good programs who are pretty green but today you were top down embarrassed so I think it's time to start discussing

being this the case, why should there be any trust in rhule overall? those of us who thought his choices were subpar, hes been full montied. proofs in the pudding. frost was shit from year 2 on. i dont see this getting better than we are right now

I would like to see Satt, McGuire, and Foley all gone. Here’s my questions…… did MR bring in Glenn Thomas for OC next year or IF he thinks he’s going to make a change is he putting feelers out to coaches and Who? I’m assuming Dana Holgerson but doesn’t he have too much of a wide open offense for what Rhule is wanting to build in effect a NFL-lite program as @HuskerGarrett discussed in his Bye-week Nugs?

Meanwhile we got buttfucked to death by a team that has installed a cutting edge collegiate style of offense and defense. And their special teams aren't coached by a clueless fuck.

The worst part is the national media for the most part tries to prop us up and we always flop. I think Rhule is 2-21 against top 25 teams and both wins came while at Temple.

I think you are correct. I would say Thomas would slide into OC and our DB coach would slide into the DC if White happens to move on. Easy transition while keeping continuity.

You say slide, but are they better than what we have? We don’t know.

Satt is definitely gone. Foley will probably be moved into an analyst role. But if TW can get anything done to fix the defense now, he still has a chance to stay. I don’t think he’s good enough to get an HC position straight up.

I have no idea if they are better or not. I’m just saying if I had to bet what would happen that would be it. Whatever they would do with the OC you probably better make sure Dylan would stick around.

Every single offensive coach needs to go, including Raiola. His OL has been atrocious for 3 fucking years. IDGAF if that means Dylan transfers and his brother goes elsewhere. We ain't winning shit with either of them with their uncle in charge of our OL.

Berthal has made our RB room worse, and can't see past his nose that Johnson is the best back on the roster. It's not even close.

McGuire wouldn't even get a job at Southlake.

Rhule is at an inflection point, in year 2 & that's very concerning.

Is keeping continuity something we should be striving for? We need a complete reset in 2 out of the 3 phases of the game

TW should have taken a HC job if he was offered last year. Nobody is going to hire him away with the way the defense has played so far this year. They look lost.

worse part is we all saw that before year one. yet it took a level of people lying to themselves to trust that rhule made the right hire. now what?
I think the issue was much more he didn't have a QB so it's probably unfair to judge him, which is accurate.

But even when hired it was a big, "Ugh"

Let’s not forgot the original TE coach he hired was literal lee a High School coach.
