Home gym is where it’s at. Expensive to start but man I don’t miss going to the gym.
I agree. Have had a full home gym since at least 2010. Pretty much everthing one would need.
That being said, I have had 5 surgeries the last 2.5 years, and have barely used it in that time. All I can do to actually physically work all day with misc arm/shoulder surgeries. Am a contractor so when I get home all those surgically repaired areas are beyond shot/tired. I am making excuses, but these are pretty valid.
I am a late-night workout guy anyway. Often start at 10 or 11 pm to workout. We only have one gym in the town I live now, the big one closed several months ago, closed overnight with not a single forewarning to any of the paying customers (I had not been a member there for a long time having my own gym). And that gym stopped being open 24 hrs a day when Covid hit. So for a late night workouts, my home gym is where it is at. And the only option anyway, at this point.
Before I moved from Lincoln over 20 years ago now, I used to have a membership a Sports Courts. Loved going there late at night. Get a workout in, then go shoot hoops on the basketball courts, rarely anyone else around. No place like that at all where I live in MT. Hell, there is not even a place to play basketball at all in the whole town. No BBall courts, no leagues, nothing. But they do have more bars per capita than pretty much any other town in the country. What a trashy fucking worthless town.
